Pauma Tribal Website

Turtle Island Productions, in association with  Naqmayam Communications and  Chicago Website Designers recently completed creative design, content management and development  for the official tribal website of the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians located north of San Diego. Pauma's goals for the website were to go beyond providing the standard information about the tribe's history, culture, and economic development progress by creating a site that reflected the Pauma tribal community itself. TIP worked closely with tribal representatives to build a site that reflected Pauma's values and forward-looking goals with heavy emphasis on family and community participation.

This was accomplished by providing a tribal memebrs only section of the website whereby Pauma tribal members are encouraged to sign up with their own accounts, login and participate in the many tribal services, programs, and community events highlighted on the website. Furthermore, the tribe wanted a site that they could eventually manage and update themselves by using dynamic web solutions such as CMS but they did not want the site to look like a CMS site. TIP, working closely with Chicago Website Designers delivered a sophisticated, yet easily manageable,  dynamic web interface with a  design and look that is uniquely "Pauma."
