Turtle Island Productions owner James Fortier is currently writing a feature film screenplay based on personal events relating to his Ojibway heritage and family history. In addition, he is developing several treatments for screenplays focusing on the history of relations between the Canadian Government and the Metis people of Canada as well as the history of the Ojibway people in Canada.
